A journey into the heart of relationship

Looking at the deeper foundation of relationships of all kinds

This summer, I was lucky enough to be in Victoria, Canada, sitting on a stone bench with a dear friend, contemplating a powerful art installation, "Love Story", that was across the street from us.  It was a large mural of stones and crystals set into the wall in beautiful swirls, dips, columns, and spirals.  It was pulsing with energy and movement, echoing the deep familiar call of love that we have within us.

There is a powerful connection to Source within all of us, a universal pulse of Love that is part of the fabric of who we are.  Around the world, many people use the Gene  Keys as a conduit for exploring this connection through contemplation and meditation, as well as through light-hearted group exploration, movement practices, and music and art of all kinds.

Looking at the mystical mural in Victoria, I had just come from Richard Rudd's "64 Names of Love" event, where he challenged us to contemplate the life of an Ecstatic - someone who is brave and rebellious enough to have placed love above all else in their life.  It was a day of magic, mystery, and meditation, a journey into the heart where Divine Love is always alive within us. I could feel the inexplicable resonance of this truth inside me, and was fascinated at the opening of this love as our group contemplation brought awareness of how this love can be touched on in our everyday lives. Gazing at the artwork of the mural, I recognized the patterns of the ecstatic life flowing through the art of the marvelous mural before me, a beautiful harmonic blend of the mundane and the sacred, representing everyday life relationships of beings infused with Sacred Divine Love.

The art reminded me of my work as a Constellations Facilitator, where I work with a client’s relationship to their support system, to help them more fully and easily tap into the love and life force available to us all.  A person's support system is like that mural, a beautiful expression of the love and connectedness that supports and integrates into the deepest meaning of who they are as a part of creation. In this work, I get a deep view into relationships of all kinds - how they function, how energy flows and how it doesn't, how our relationships support us, and how our own choices echo through our relationships and create patterns and ripple effects, and how we respond to each other in ways that are unique to our own relational conditioning.

The Constellation work supports greater ease and freedom of choice around relationship conditioning, and helps open up a client’s connection to their supportive energy, if needed.  This support is a deep and profound love energy that is their birthright.

There are wonderful practices and awarenesses that help us tap into our Source of Love and support us in navigating our relationships and in our expression of our own human story.  We practiced some of these meditations and group contemplations at the event this summer with Richard Rudd, and we explore them in our local Gene Keys group and activities as well.

If you would like to explore these themes and receive support in your own relatedness and connectedness, please join Linda Galvan and I on October 7 as we lead this group journey into the heart of relationship and support you in grounding in and embodying the higher essence and expression of love in your daily life.

This event is for those who are:

  • wanting to support yourself in relationships, and
  • wanting to experience greater ease in relationship, and
  • find ways to touch into the Diving Love of Creation to support yourself and your relationships
  • Feeling called to the challenge to place love above all else!

More about the Love Story mural:

This was a deeply personal work by an artist couple who specialize in amazing sacred art installations that are in harmony with the land around and made of special natural materials. Their work has echoes of both ancient and modern expressions of the sacred, and is profoundly moving when contemplated and experienced fully.  Quietly absorbing the Love Story mural, I began to feel the story of love embedded in the pattern of stones... I could feel the symbolism of family, the intimate mysteries of birth and the remote echoes of ancestry, the warmth and playfulness of friendship and community, the deep connection of intimate love and the ache of estrangement.  The mural was alive with the feeling of the life force that moves each of us, coursing like a river through our individual human lives and through our expression of the deepest meaning of who we are.  We play out this expression in our relationships with other people, like a beautiful dramatic tapestry interwoven with the stories of our choices and those of other people, and the deepest expression of who they are as well.  As I sat looking at the mural, I marveled that that I was recognizing the same themes in this mural that I had just experienced at Richard Rudd's "64 Names of Love" event, where he taught us a deeper understanding of various levels and experiences of love, ultimately sourcing from the Divine - and now here they were represented before me in magnificent form.

What a gift to marvel at the big picture of relationships, where each of us have themes and patterns that are part of the larger pattern, the universal experience of being human.
